Columbarium Niches

Columbarium Niches

When choosing cremation, you may be surprised to learn how many different kinds of cemetery options are available. Though many families decide to scatter the cremated remains, a feeling of missed opportunity can surface years after. Having a place to go and visit is an important part of the grieving process.

A columbarium is a room or a building that is specifically designed for permanent placement of cremation urns. Columbaria are most often located on cemetery property but they can be found elsewhere. A columbarium niche is a dedicated space with either a bronze, marble, granite or glass front. They can hold one or up to 5 cremation urns so your family can be together forever.

Bronze Front Niches

As the name suggests, a bronze front niche is sealed with a cast bronze plaque that is engravable with date of birth, date of death and other aspects of the life of the person resting there. Our bronze front niche options are located inside our climate controlled facility so you can visit your loved one year round.

Granite or Marble Front Niches

Similar to a bronze front niche, a granite or marble front niche is sealed with a stone front. The front of the columbarium niche may be laser-engraved with the details of the person resting there or they can also have a bronze plaque for this purpose. Our granite or marble front niche options are located inside our climate controlled facility so you can visit your loved one year round.

Glass Front Niches

A glass front columbarium niche allows you to tell the story of your loved one’s life like no other cemetery property can. They’re almost like a shadowbox for keepsakes and to keep things important to your loved one close to them while sharing what made their life special and unique. Families also have the option of changing out these items so that any visitor can see and enjoy them.
